Equity, equality, diversity and inclusion in the rail industry
At GBRTT and across the rail industry, we believe it is everyone’s responsibility to help create an inclusive and accessible workplace.
We embrace diversity in every sense, supported by GBRTT's two Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EEDI) Project Managers. There’s a place for everyone at GBRTT, and our differences are our collective strength.
We provide equitable employment and development opportunities to all colleagues, so we can grow as a diverse and inclusive organisation. Read why EEDI is important to us in a blog from our Lead Director, Rufus Boyd.
An important cross-industry group that has been established at GBRTT in the EEDI space is the National Rail Accessibility Group (NAG). The NAG's role is to support the delivery of the government's National Rail Accessibility Strategy in an advisory capacity.
Our EEDI Project Managers also co-Chair the cross-industry Rail Unites for Inclusion group.
